The motor industry have been telling us for years that it is not cost effective to build a more environmentally friendly car! I never believed them, but then today I read this article about a Soybean-Fueled Car build as an after-school project. It does 0-60Mph in 4 seconds and does 50 mile to the gallon. Now do we still believe the motor industry?

Well, the motor industry obviously wasn't watching the ball there, otherwise they would probably have bought them out to shut them up!!! (Cue the Oliver Stone conspiracy movie...)

I wouldn't mind one of those cars... but how much does a full tank of Soybean cost? If it really is cheap, then these dudes should become rather wealthy quite quickly...
