If people don’t know (or care) about Apple, then… Si, dude, sorry but… they care jack s**t about Linux. Assuming most computer users even know what it is.

If I were selling an ad campaign, and I had the idea of mentioning Linux when aiming at the average middle-class, use-a-computer-to-use-MySpace crowd, well… I would fire myself.

I can come up with all kinds of issues with Apple going for the browser crown… but not mentioning Linux really is not one of them. And I run Ubuntu 7.04

In any case, I think this is all to do with the iPhone – nowt to do with browsers in themselves (and once again, Apple is using the “enthusiasts” to bug test their stuff… another issue entirely of course).

For the record, though, in spite of the fact that it looks like I might become a Safari user on Windows (for jeez, is it FAST!!!) – I am *still* a Firefox (or Camino) user on the Mac
