More of my work

Here are some more pictures, this time of another piece of work I have done. This one is titled “Just the two of us”. Like my dome project, I painted this back in 2003. In these shots you can see the two stages of this painting. Hope you like the pictures!

The Dome (final year degree work)

Here are some photos of a piece of work I submitted for my final year degree in Fine Art and Sculpture, which I studied for at the Wimbledon School of Art. I graduated in Summer 2003 and in my time there this was one of the largest works I produced measuring 24′ across and 12′ high. I have also attached some images of the construction of this work so that you can see how it came together.

Since finishing my degree I have stayed in London and I am now working in Hampton doing houseboat restoration with my good friend Ben Heath. We have formed our own small business, Scrub ‘n’ Lick. We carry out Painting, Decorating, Carpentry, Exterior Cleaning, and Minor Construction Work. If you need houseboat work done please do not hesitate to call me on +44 7716 810074.

I hope you enjoy this work as much as I enjoyed creating it.

The Next Generation Console Wars

OK the next “Gen Console Wars” have already begun, Microsoft already have their Xbox 360 out, although the lunch went a bit bumpy with reports of overheating consoles.

Today Sony have taken a big fall anouncing that the Playstion 3 will not be available until Novemeber, and that is a Japan launch date. The US and Europe will have to wait even longer for the next Playstion console.

So that leaves my personal favourite Nintendo. Those of you who know me, know I am a Nintendo Fan, but even those who are not fans must be able to see the potential of the Nintendo Revolution. With the Sony anouncment it looks like the Revolution could be out before the Playstation 3, and that could help Nintendos sales figures!

What do you all think???

Some Mac news and a nice Mac though Linux eyes bit

Here are 2 storys about macs that I have read today.

The first is all about the possible success of sombody installing Windows XP on a new Intel Mac, at this stage I still can not tell if this is a photoshop scam or a real solution. If it’s for real, then this guy stands to get $12k.

The second artical I read today that I liked is this guys view of the Mac though Linux eyes. Makes for a geate read!!!

Kids Build Soybean-Fueled Car

The motor industry have been telling us for years that it is not cost effective to build a more environmentally friendly car! I never believed them, but then today I read this article about a Soybean-Fueled Car build as an after-school project. It does 0-60Mph in 4 seconds and does 50 mile to the gallon. Now do we still believe the motor industry?
